Control Options - The Vision Range

The Vision Range is the name given to our dynamic range of light and effect controllers, starting with the simplest format Vision-I series to the more sophisticated computer controlled Vision-III.

Vision-III System

This computer controlled system is where the Vision range started, precise programming to coordinate lights, water and effects to pre-recorded music. An innovative product designed and developed over a three year period, Vision-I is exciting when compared to static displays, Vision-II an inventive and versatile progression, but Vision-III is a unique breath-taking experience, a real show-off.

  • A simple single 3 core ring main is used to supply the outputs (previously one to each output).

  • No limitation on scene numbers.

  • Audio control, we can now program the switching and volume control of stereo music through multiple speaker sets creating a new dimension to the experience of surround sound. Position and volume are independently controlled by the program.

  • Simple digital menu display and program selector, or interactive VDU option available.

  • All outputs configured in Landscape Musicale studio. Personalised presentations which can be programmed and down-loaded quickly to anywhere in the world.

  • Programme updates and diagnostic control available remotely from Landscape Musicale studio.

  • Music library updates, an ever increasing selection of pre-programmed digital music is available for either direct down-loading or CD/digital tape hard copy.

  • Intelligent computer sampling will be available to Vision-III users in the near future. A clever programme currently under development that will automatically present you with a coordinated light and sound display, a built in random scene selector will ensure that each show is different.

In simple terms our technology works like this:

At the Landscape Musicale Studio our Vision-III software is used to program displays and routines in conjunction with digitised visuals and audio. The program is tested and then down-loaded (or hard copy) to the end-user station, here it can be selected for use from the hard disc library.

In use the installed Vision-III interface sends out an address signal to all the outputs, this signal will contain data such as light/effect identification, brightness percentages, length of fade and duration. The signal generated by the computer is instantaneous to the human senses, this signal searches the circuit until it reaches its destination, if it cannot find its destination it will send an error message back to the Vision-III interface which in turn can either display an error message or send it back to the Landscape Musicale office via a designated modem link. Your show will continue with output modules capable of receiving hundreds of commands each second.
