About the Vision Group
The Vision Group, a diverse group of innovative companies offering a range of unique products and services, was conceived in April 1993, with the common goal of delivering the highest possible levels of service.
The group’s first venture, Glazing Vision, introduced a range of architectural glass products offering innovative glazing solutions for Architects. The UK company was quickly followed by Glazing Vision in South Africa, established with a ‘not for profit’ policy, created to transfer our products and knowledge to a less advantaged community. Glazing Vision’s success allows both companies to financially support the Vision Group charity, Generation Journey, in UK, South Africa and the displaced people of Burma in North Thailand. The company acquired a classic Dutch sailing barge, VGBlue, which has been converted to promote the charity throughout the UK and Ireland and act as a floating showroom for the Group’s products.
Lightscape Musicale soon followed, a dynamic lighting system for landscapes and architecture. Watching the static lights around a pond, inspired by a glass of wine and then soon a bottle, the static display of lighting evolved, “Imagine these lights responding to the mood of the music!” The concept was born, a unique product designed and developed with the assistance of a DTI innovations grant, an advanced wireless system for linking lights to audio and much more.
The latest additions to the group include Spiral hardware, a company specializing in glass and fittings for frameless glass designs; VG-Media offering cutting-edge marketing solutions, promotional video production, Point-of-Sale visuals, audio, animations, 3D walk-throughs and unique website concepts, another venture successfully replicated in South Africa with Vision Group Productions; Vision Tours to link in with the charity and VGBlue to promote, support and fund the barge.
With an innovative board of Directors and a strong team of creative and experienced professionals the group has exciting plans to grow and diversify.
